People would quickly hop on the hate bandwagon because Miyazaki didn’t play a big role of making dks2, but this game is actually pretty good. With the sotfs update it fixed much needed fixes for the lore and in my opinion, has the best dlc out of the souls series, but it does has it’s flaws like sluggish movement and odd area transitions.
It might not stand toe to toe with dks3, but nonetheless it is still a great game and worth playing.
